Screw Creek Interpretive Trail & Townsend Bluff Walk

Meeting at Inverloch Foreshore camp ground, explore the New Screw Creek Interpretive Trail – A Guided Walk for Nature Lovers

As part of the Inverloch Equinox Festival, we invite you to experience the brand-new Screw Creek Interpretive Trail, recently developed by South Gippsland Conservation Society Inc. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, explore a stunning coastal landscape, and gain expert insights into the area’s rich ecology.

Join an Education Officer from Bunurong Coast Education for a guided walk along Screw Creek, through the Screw Creek Nature Conservation Reserve, and onto the headland at Townsend Bluff—where you’ll take in breathtaking views over Anderson Inlet, Venus Bay, and Point Smythe. Along the way, you’ll discover ancient old-growth trees, diverse wildlife, and fascinating environmental features.

Please note that this walk travels through a Public Conservation Area where dogs are not permitted, so we kindly ask you to leave your four-legged friends at home.

Don’t miss this chance to connect with nature, celebrate the Equinox, and explore one of Inverloch’s most scenic trails! Register now to secure your spot
